I'm assuming my ankle will get over itself by then. I hope so. I just started running again and I have races on the calendar for this weekend and next (remember, it's redemption time for me!) so we'll see what happens. I'll be going nice and slow and have no big goals for either race, other than to show up for the damn thing (Run for the Apples) and NOT walk through the finish chute (Monster Dash 10 mile). Here's hoping the ankle doesn't complain too much.
My snazzy new trail shoes! |
More to come but just thought I'd let you know I'm baaaaaaaaccckkkkkkk!!!
Welcome back Nora! Happy to see you back in blogland. I love those shoes!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you!! And I can't wait to hear about your trail shoes too (which I've been told are great for winter running as well...)
ReplyDeleteYay! So glad to hear you're back in the saddle. Or trail shoes - well, you get the idea. I loved reading about your first go around - totally inspired me to make the leap myself (and yes - I did sort of curse your name in the last few miles, but we're cool now) Plantar fasciitis has me sidelined - very sad - no Monster Half for me, but I hope to be on the mend and out on the trails and winter running too. BE CAREFUL with your injury. Look forward to the updates!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, so excited to have more interesting reading material in my life that makes me smile. Missed your lively posts! Kay C
ReplyDeleteYay! I think its awesome you are doing Grandma's again. And I'm so excited to read all about your training and other races along the way. Also, I'm a little in love with your new shoes :)
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks everyone! It's great to be back!
