On June 18, 2011, at age 45 I amazed myself by finishing my first marathon. 26.2 miles. In one day. I loved it so much that I'm doing it again. And again!
He is one of my heroes, and not just for being a cancer survivor. Kind, generous, funny as hell, fabulous husband, dad, son, and brother, and I'm lucky that he also counts as a friend.
